What we do
If you have been searching for somewhere to buy gutter guards directly, this is one you can buy from without a showroom in the middle. Gutter Guards Company is a family business and a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, selling online across New Zealand.
The range is deliberately short and it is meant to be bought together rather than separately: the guard for the channel, the strainer for the downpipe, and the ladder, pole tool, sleeves and gloves that make fitting it a morning rather than an accident. A few things we know well, rather than a page of filler.
How we work
Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include everything you pay at checkout. Delivery is free across New Zealand on orders of $100 or more, and a flat $25 below that.
Orders are handled in 24 to 48 hours and tracked to your door in 5 to 7 days. If anything arrives wrong, we fix it at no cost to you.

What we will not tell you
No gutter guard ends gutter maintenance. Every one of these reduces it, and a brush guard in particular still needs lifting out once a year. We will not tell you that a guard is fit-and-forget, that a cut resistance rating is puncture protection, or that a 3.2 metre ladder reaches a two-storey gutter. If a job needs a roof, it needs somebody who does roofs.
Offsetting an order
Every order has a carbon cost: something was made, packed and moved to your door. You can add a voluntary $7 carbon credit offset at checkout, and the money goes to emissions reduction projects rather than to us. It is optional, it is a separate line on the order so you can see it, and nothing else about the order changes either way.
What we sell
Aluminium mesh
The rain gutter guard: 0.7 mm aluminium in 100 by 20 cm lengths with a 3.5 by 2 mm diamond hole, sold by the metre with no minimum. It does not rust, and it is the one to buy where pine needles and grit are the problem.
Plastic mesh
A 15.24 cm by 6 metre roll weighing 270 grams, cut with household scissors. The budget answer, and the right one for a shaded run, a shed or a rental where the sun is not going to make it brittle.
Brush guards
Eighteen 92 cm brushes covering 16.5 metres, 4.3 kg the set. They wedge into an existing gutter with no screws and no clips, which is what lets them go round a corner or over a curved profile without being cut.
Downpipe guards
Four 304 stainless strainers for 75 mm downpipes. A blocked gutter is usually a blocked outlet, and this is the part that stops debris packing into the top of the pipe where nobody can reach it.
Accessories
The 3.2 metre telescoping ladder, the pole tool that clears the channel from the ground, level 5 cut resistant HPPE sleeves and grain cowhide gloves in four sizes at one price.

Free across New Zealand on orders of $100 or more. Below that it is a flat $25, shown in your basket before you pay.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are handled within 24 to 48 hours, then delivered in 5 to 7 days. Allow about a week in total.
Can I return something if I change my mind?
Yes. 15 days under our own policy, in resaleable condition. Change of mind is not a legal right in New Zealand, so this is us choosing to offer it.
What happens if my order arrives faulty or damaged?
We put it right at no cost to you, with a replacement or a refund, and we pay the return postage.
Will a gutter guard stop me cleaning the gutters altogether?
No, and we will not tell you otherwise. Every guard here reduces the job. A brush guard still wants lifting out and shaking once a year, and a fine mesh still needs a rinse when silt builds up on it.
How do I pay?
Credit and debit cards through Stripe, or PayPal. Both go through a secure checkout and we never store your card details.
What is the carbon credit offset at checkout?
An optional $7 you can add to an order to offset the emissions of making, packing and delivering it. The money goes to emissions reduction projects, not to us, and nothing else about your order changes.
